Expect a HUGE game from Smitty Monday night...

Talib is not to the level of Revis or Sherman. He's good but it's not like it's something completely out of the ordinary in terms of facing a top CB this season.

When Talib was in our division, he always handled Steve and kept him quiet.

talib gave smitty fits when he played for tampa bay, and that was a younger smitty to boot.

also worth noting everyone said this same thing after the falcons game. smitty had an off game, lost focus, gave up on a route, etc., and would come back with a vengeance against the 49ers. i guess it could happen, and i'd be the happiest guy in the world if it did, but i wouldn't expect too much out of him. 50-70 yards a game means we're spreading it out to other receivers, and that's what's made us successful.

Smith has had some bad drops, but with Cam A. throwing less and B. spreading the ball around more I don't think we can really say that Smith is anyting less that he has been the last couple of years.

I'd love to see him have a huge game on MNF.

89 is targeted just as much now as ever....

He isn't throwing less to 89. The fact 89 isn't the playmaker he was.....is limiting our O. Not his fault though. We should of added a playmaker at this stage of his career

Calling it right now, Smith is going to go off on Monday night. He knows he missed several opportunities on Sunday and his focus Monday night will be unmatched.

I almost feel sorry for the Patriots secondary.... naaaaah.

if Talib is on him I don't expect much... Talib is man to man the best right now id take him over Sherman and a recovering revis

Talib can be baited, I'm pretty sure of that. I'm not sure where he falls on the Smitty respect-o-meter, closer to the Revis end or the Janoris Jenkins end.

Considering how successful he has been on 89.....89 has to respect his ability
