Where will YOU be Monday night?

You still haven't addressed any of my points.  You're obviously way too hardhead to have a simple conversation with about this AND this is way off of the simple point I was trying to make to begin with, so I'm out on this topic.

PS...any stadium where you have to walk to the top level is outdated IMO.  Hell...even the poohole stadiums in ATL and STL have escalators.  Nice that those are coming soon.

I gave you 2 articles which discuss both the difficulty in building a new stadium and that most teams are going to renovations to update existing stadiums.  What separates new stadiums from old stadiums is technology not bricks and mortar and a study commissioned last year concluded that our bones were just fine.  They recommended updating technology and that is what we are doing.  So we have a 20 year stadium that is in the midst of being updated to be more modern and close the gap between the home experience and going to a game.  All while avoiding the big ticket increases that accompany building a new stadium and answering the question about what to do with all these PSL owners who paid for their seats and might not want to pony up thousands more for a new PSL to fund the new stadium.

Good time to leave when you don't have a leg to stand on.

This isn't really true. Escalators have been built in stadiums long before BoFA opened. It was a conscious decision not to include them and now that an older person died at the stadium JR wants to get them in...our PSL owners that bought tickets when they were 50 are getting close to 70.

The design and structure of the stadium is not outdated. The renovations will be mostly for technology and sprucing up the place. New boards, new seats etc...

Are you being serious right now?  I'm glad that you can Google and do some basic research but the fact that you found an article that discusses adding technology vs building a new structure does nothing to counter my point that at this present day, and when we host a MNF game in a few days, our stadium is considered outdated.  Even if we are "in the midst" of being updated, when Monday rolls around we will not be updated.  TRANSLATION = OUTDATED.

Your second article (again, great job with Google) which ranks us 17th takes weather, fans, and history into consideration.  Which makes it completely IRRELEVANT to my points.

You still can't tell me or Dex what's ONE must-see thing in the 500 level of the stadium.

You're welcome to keep taking shots at me and Googling more articles that DON'T support your point, but I'm bowing out because this is like talking to an infant.  Or worse...it's like talking to an idiot national reporter who says Cam has a bad attitude because he wears a towel over his head.  That reporter used Google to find some pics of Cam but it doesn't mean he's validating a point.

Good try though....C+ just for effort alone.  I'm assuming that's better than most of the grades you received in school.

If renovations are needed and are coming then the current conditions are outdated.  It really shouldn't be that hard to understand.  I have never said we need a new structure.  All I've ever said was don't waste your time walking around the concourse in the 500 level because there's nothing to see.  Certainly don't miss any of the game action to see the stadium.

Spare me the personal attacks. If I want that conversation I can have it with my middle schooler.

Obviously you have your point of view and aren't changing which is fine. But what is there to see from the 500 level?  One hell of a football game, a skyline that is beautiful at night, several great architectural buildings with neon lights that will be flashing when we score Monday night.  I much prefer outdoor stadiums even when it is cold and rainy to indoor stadiums that make you feel you are at a basketball game. I think that coming out of the concourse into the stadium and seeing the field and all the fans cheering for my team is a must see thing.

But keep going here, what you think no one knows about you is being revealed in these negative attacking posts.

Oh please....spare me that drama.  If I wanted that I would go talk to my wife.

I actually agree with all of those things you mentioned.  Those are all great things he will see during his first visit to the stadium and from his seat.  None of those things have to do with the stadium, however.  And back to the point....which means there is no need for him to spend time walking around the stadium like he first suggested. To which I countered with "don't miss the game for the stadium".

Guys, I just moved to Asheville about a month ago. Anyone know of any good Panther bars here?

There are no Panther bars in Asheville but I know a great spot to watch a riveting futbol game and look at hairy hippy chicks.

In all seriousness though I usually go to Wild Wings Cafe. It's not a Panthers bar by a long shot but they serve regular beer and have a ton screens to watch the game on. The only other option is the Bier Garden, it's alright but they only have small TVs over the bar, pour terrible liquor drinks, and only sell expensive micro brew.
