Early forecast - Rain Monday Night

I think it could go either way. We could see a lot of corners slipping, and we could see some offensive lineman lose their footing. Obviously depends on the extent of the rain as well.

I would think it would favor us. They are a team that is very pass oriented and our defense plus rain would be a major advantage for us.

Yep, given the alternative I think the Panthers would love for the Pats to try to win on the ground.

I don't think it will matter, unless it's like the Jacksonville game in 2011.  Brady is not going to be bothered by light rain.

I'd like to think this would play into our advantage. However, our guys seem to have enough trouble catching/hanging on to a dry ball.

Imagine the kind of game it's going to be in New York in February. Heavy dose of the run game and the team with the best defense winning.

I remember seeing the end of the New England/Cincinnati game this year and it was raining and New England wasn't able to throw the ball. It may have been pouring though I can't really remember.
