Mike & Mike gave us some love

For those who haven't heard it/won't hear it, here is the basic run down of the segment they did on the Panthers (spent a good 5 minutes or so on us).

-Our defense was amazing. 
-Cam didn't play really well, but didn't play bad either. Pointed to the dropped passes.
-Some criticism of Smith having a bad day.
-Said this was one of the bigger games of the day. Lived up to the hype. Pointed to the physicality.
-More praise on our front 7. Said this is the best front 7 in football.
-Said our defense is right up there with KC.
-The NFC South race will be fun to watch, especially when we play the Saints in a few weeks
-Closed by saying "if you don't mention Carolina as one of the best teams in the NFC, you're not paying attention"



EDIT: They mentioned a cool stat. In the 4th quarter, our defense allowed 4 total yards.

EDIT: They were wrong....I just checked, we allowed 8 yards.

I wish people would quit saying "up there with KC". I'm sure if we played the Jags and Raiders our stats would be better too.

Everytime someone says we might have the best front 7 in the league, the question that always pop into my mind is how much of the country even know who's in our front seven? (Other than Luke Kuechly)

I agree. I think our defense is the best in the league, hands down. Just repeated what they said though.

Technically, Atlanta can still score, and Tampa is better than Jacksonville. They also haven't played Seattle or San Fran. Just back me up here, it's easier.

Debating which D is better based on who has played better teams is a silly conversation. I'll just go with it...

They've literally played nobody. If they had our schedule, they'd probably be 6-3 though.

KC has squeaked by subpar teams. They also have the fortune of playing the NFC East this year, and only have the Redskins left out of that. I'm pretty sure Peyton hangs enough next week to take care of business.

And honestly i'm not ruling out that KC could technically lose out. That schedule is tough esp with al lthe division games.
