i think we are mainly because the rest of the teams don't look scary....esp. in the nfc. saints and seattle in their houses look like the toughest ones, but even in those settings they look beatable.

 

right now, we look as good as anyone. if the offense picks it up a little, we look better than pretty much everyone.

 

the good thing is, this offense typically gets better as the season goes on. 

 

The NFC is full of bad football this season.  That's for sure.

The offense is not that bad it seems to be its worst enemy than opposing D........we had several opportunity to score but mental mistakes cost us. Looking forward to finishing this season strong.

The scary part is this could/should be 8-1 right now.  DWill's fumble on the 8 going in against Seattle may have cost us that game.  We absolutely should have won the Buffalo game, lots of injuries and bad coaching decisions and a miracle drive combined together for that loss.  Arizona beat us, but I think if we played right now we beat Zona 8 of 10 times.

 

The point, even at 6-3, this team is better than it's record.

How the Panthers handle success, how they understand they have done a great job at winning one game, will be the key to the rest of this year.

 

The Patriots love taking down hot teams...their division is so putrid I think they look forward to it.

 

Bellinchek has had 2 full weeks to plan for Carolina.  Look for a lot of quick throws to keep that defense at bay and look for elaborate blitz schemes against Cam until he proves he can see the defense and get rid of the ball.  With Cam lately, i'm man, pls, just step up and throw or step out and run but don't be indecisive against fast defenses...if  our receivers aren't open run.  I know he's trying to make a play but lord.

 

Bellinchek always neutralizes the best player of the opposing team on both sides of the ball.  Rivera must know that and that the quick throws will be coming at the defense.

 

I forgot how his defense in San Diego did against the patriots.

I think it is hilarious when people said we had to beat someone good to be relevant... and then when we go out and smoke the 9ers those same people are saying that the 9ers are overrated and the win wasn't impressive.
