True. Favre would have just masked his pain and ridden his arm into the ground, and his team along with it. Why should he have to point out his personal tragedies -- on and off the field -- when the media will do it for him?

This is why I've held a deep-rooted hatred for Favre for a long time, well before both retirements.

Rodgers has what it takes to be a great quarterback in the league. If you want to talk about how far the Packers have fallen, look to the defense and running game, not the quarterback position.

Poor use of words on my part. It was a late hit that Peppers had already committed to, but more than this, the momentum of the game was directly changed (in my opinion) as a result. I'm glad he made that hit, late or not.

I don't think he was crying about anything. I'm sure he was just asked about his hardest hit, and just decided to tell about it. I'd rather him tell it like it is and give credit to the guy who hit him than to act like some cowboy and say that no hit has ever hurt him.

I met Rodgers a few weeks ago at a wedding and I actually got to hang out with him for most of the night. Really cool guy.

yeah, I agree that he isn't crying. It is the offseason and those are common fluff questions that people like to hear. Every QB has taken a hit that stands out above the rest......

Most QB's won't give defenses the satisfaction of talking about how hard they hit... Personally I think it's worth whatever kind of penalty you get for giving the opposing QB one good shot early in the game - I'd like to see the Panthers get even more aggressive in this regard.
