Is this enough for Rivera to stay

WildCats

Not yet but Rivera sure has become a better HC than he was the past two years.  I remember him, or maybe Jerry Richardson, saying he wanted to see the team "trending up" when they were losing.  Well, I see Rivera (finally) "trending up".  Loving the ballsy 4th down calls.  You see it around the league and it's finally come to Carolina.  San Francisco could have won if they had scored a TD on their 4th and short in the 2nd quarter.  Would Ron have gone for it in the same situation?

I know the people who run the team aren't as stupid as many of the fans and I don't mean this but if they were to do something as dumb as firing the coach for missing the playoffs but with a winning season I would have a hard time continuing to follow this team.

There are games we really should win coming up. I will not freak out over losses to New England or New Orleans.

Let's be honest, NO is a much better team than us. They have so many weapons, and their defense lead by Ryan held the Cowboys to pretty much nothing. Cowboys have legit guys on offense, better than ours.

I don't see us beating NO, and we will deff lose one of those games. We should beat Tampa, Miami, Jets, and Falcons. That leaves us at 10-6 if we lose out to NO. Beat NO once and we are set. If we beat New England, we are really set.

Of course, I can see a pissed off Falcons playing hard in that last game. I think we really need to beat either NO once or beat New England.

Rivera is able to get this team ready. Unless we lose out every game, he has solidified himself as legit.

They aren't much better than us. The Saints need their sanctuary of a dome to compete. When they are outside of it, they are extremely vulnerable.

The Cowturds are softer than warm butter. They have no proper leadership and completely fell apart once the Saints got some momentum. It's much more than having weapons on offense to be legit.

Our defense is designed for the NFC South. They can go toe-to-toe against the likes of Brees and Ryan. Force them to dink and dunk by using our pass rush and zone D and take advantage of our great tackling back 7 to ensure they don't break it for a big gain.

While a win in the sewer will be difficult, I suspect we'll be pressuring the Saints hard for the division lead and may overtake them by the end of the season.

I feel it would take a meltdown of epic proportions for him to lose his job now.  9-7 seals it but I feel we can at least get 10 wins and obviously he's safe.

This team is ONE offensive player maker away from being elite.  With the way the line has played lately, and we have some guys we'll get back from injury, I'm in the "WR in the 1st bandwagon" if it makes sense at our pick.

No. I don't accept this statement.

The Cowboy's D features guys like George Selvie, Nick Hayden, and Everette Brown. All were our cast-offs. Dan Conner was also there for awhile but I seem to remember him being released (not sure).

So it's no big surprise the Saints would put up 600+ yards, especially when dickhead supreme Sean P. tries to keep humiliating teams even when they are way ahead late in the 4th.

We can beat them.
