Disagree. OP is correct, nothing about their defense made us drop balls and made cam make stupid decisions, missing wide open recievers, the fumbling, touching blocked punts etc.

if this was against an inferior team I may agree, but San Fran's D is legit and although we could have made it easier on ourselves, thats just the way it goes sometimes, our defense makes us an automatic contender though and I would dare to say they are the best in the league

That was a divisional round playoff intensity game. Offense isn't going to blow the roof off in the playoffs. Just look at how most teams that rely only on offense always seem to sputter out in the playoffs.

Panthers are physical, play great D, and can make a lot of noise in the NFC.

Why do so many dumbasses forget there are 11 other guys on the field? The Panthers offense wasn't playing against air. They were playing against one of the best defenses in the league. Im not saying the offense doesnt need so work, but good lord, we ARE playing against another team every week. Its not ALL on the Panthers offense. Its a shocking thought, but guess what, sometimes the other teams make plays. It happens.

Our offense has its faults, but it went up against one of the best D's on the left coast and pulled it out.  Just stop the dropsies and we'll be ok.

 

I guess, I must be one of the few fans on here who understand that a team is neither just offense or defense. It's both sides fighting for a W.

 

Yes, the offense didn't bring their "A" game this week but to assume that they won't bring it next week or that them not bringing it means a definite lost, is so NEGATIVE NELLY.

 

Seriously what is wrong with some the cynics on this site? You are more focused on the what the team or Cam didn't do right mroe than the team finally gelling as a team and winning. Even without the Offense not playing well.
