Ok, I'm late here. I know that. But these Niner bitches aren't seriously saying we beat them by shutting down their pass game and citing VD leaving the game as a reason for the loss, right?

Surely, not the same people who talked up San Fran's run game and excused the Niners low passing stats by saying "we only pass when we need to" are now saying the way we beat them was by stopping the pass?

Like I said before. The Niners and their fans exist to make excuses.

Hats off to the Panthers today they clearly were the better team today. Your pash rush destroyed our oline. Both teams played a great defensive game and I think the difference was the hunter fumble. Was def a fun game to watch and think either of these two teams could make run in the playoffs this year. Also would like to point out Tolbert after the Reid injury. Guy is a class act. I love to see that kind of respect for another player during a hard fought game.

Wow. Do you guys honestly believe that losing Vernon Davis had no effect on the game? Jeez. Saying that doesn't mean Niner fans are just making excuses. It doesn't matter who the 49e4rs lost, it is on them to make up for it.

 

Not sure why its so offensive to say losing Vernon was a factor in the game. If you had lost and had lost Steve Smith or Luke Kuechly...would that have been a factor? Come on now. Lets be real.

 

Panthers may have won this game regardless, but saying losing Vernon was a factor isn't just an excuse. Its truth.

 

Do you really think that playing a guy who was DT in training camp, then an OT, that was rushed into playing RG against the best front seven in the NFL second best front 7 in the NFL doesn't have any effect on the game?  we only have two legit O-lineman on our entire roster

 

If we didn't have a bunch of castoffs and UDFAs playing O-line this game would have gone even worse for you than it did
