From a broader view, this article highlights elements of star's game that were largely nonexistent on this team since at least 2008. On that one giants sack you can see part of the reason eli goes down is that there's nowhere to go. When we had guys like maake kemoeatu, there was always a pocket for a QB to step up in because he was virtually worthless on passing downs. It's worth noting that a big part of Star's dominance is due to KK being dominant in his own right. Either would be a standout on any line in the league. Combined, they're the closest thing football has to a nerdgasm.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the improvement at DT is the reason this team has a shot at the playoffs.

I agree with you I feel like if we would have had them two years ago we would have been a playoff team and we would not have blown so many 4th quarter leads if any at all.
