This is one of the hallmarks of someone who didn't grow up in NC. They believe that a snow forecast more than 2 hours in the future has any chance of being accurate.

 

 

Pro Tip for those not from NC.  Don't believe the call for snow until you see it landing on the ground.

It snows in Wilmington once every 4.6 years on avg.  Usually we get about 0.5" of snow... but every 50th year it snows 4 feet.

Requires a Nor'easter or system from gulf.  I've never seen a system that originates out west/north west develop much for us in Raleigh area.  Always dies at mountains/piedmont area.

Lol yeah. It hardly ever snows in NC before February, and even then it's iffy.

I read NC Mountains will be getting snow not Charlotte.  So yeah.
