Yeah I'm not sure why this is even a topic tbh. I don't like complaining about why threads are created but a 49er choosing their quarterback over the competitor isn't news worthy to talk about imo.

In other late breaking trash talking news Jake Delhomme was quoted as saying the Panthers are a young promising team. Look for these incendiary words to light a fire under the 49ers this week.

Stats are a hell of a thing. But of course he thinks his guy is better.

In reality, Gore is not off that much.  He picked the only area of Cams game where his guy might have a leg up.

 

Cam is better in many areas, but his one weakest area IS is passing.  His throws are a bit flat from screens to crossing patterns, etc.  In fact, the few INT's has has thrown are due to this.

 

But, overall, he is playing much better.

 

As everyone said, it is a non issue for a teammate to support their QB.  Doubt any massive outpouring of emotion or bulletin board stuff from this.
