Anyone ever been to a race in Talladega?

First off, I am not a nascar fan, otherwise I would have posted in the Nascar forum

Me and some buddies are thinking about renting an RV and camping out at Talladega raceway for a weekend in May. Perhaps we would goto the race, but we more so just want to people watch and drink beer.

ANYONE GOT STORIES, ADVICE, PICS, ETC??

I've never been but I have a friend who was arrested at Talladega for setting a Porta Jon on fire.

I went once. The track is so big that you sometimes have no clue what is going on on the other side of the track. So for actual racing I wasn't impressed but the people watching will be great I am sure

Talladega used to be awesome before restrictor plates.
