The Chiefs but for one season. What exactly is you point?

We haven't proven anything. Yet. Except that we can win against bad teams.

I'm not really expecting you to comprehend this, since you always quote me with the most asinine drivel you can come up with.

All jokes aside, I'm glad I can think for myself rather than mindlessly droning the company line at each opportunity and trying to pass it off as "impartiality."

Bro you need to take this stuff less seriously, they don't need you to defend every poor decision they make. God knows they could use the accountability.

Bragging about 'thinking for yourself' loses its impact when you've demonstrated that you don't do it very well.

Freaking out and coming up with crazy conspiracy theories and making suicide references over a guy taking OL drills makes for a pretty good demonstration.

In the first sentence we have an insult that is rooted in nothing but an attempt to counter a previous retort by turning the tables around but provides no such example and really only comes across as some elaborately worded pee wee herman "i know you but what am I" offshoot.

The second sentence is even more comical because you suggest I'm touting a conspiracy theory-when it happens to be one which you have actively proclaimed to believe in, and it's concluded with a statement that we already happen to know to be false when we look at the information taken form multiple sources including the head coach himself.

Some of you find it hard to understand why this move would be questioned. Let's start with some basic facts:

1) As a defensive tackle, Fua has not made one significant play in 3 years on the field. Not one. Star, KK, Cole, Dwan all made more plays in their first 6 games than Fua has in his 3 year career. This does not indicate he is either powerful or has good footwork.

2) 6'1" guards are not the norm in the NFL. It is not as though he has prototypical measureables.

3) Our o-line has been a bit dicey since training camp. They have performed better than expected, but the team has had to adjust game plans to cover up this weakness.

4) 25% of our o-line roster is now made up of conversion projects.

5) We are more than 10 million under the cap.

6) The team is good enough to go to the playoffs and make some noise with decent o-line play.

I could go on and on. The point is, doesn't it seem far more likely we might find a serviceable guard by looking in the ranks of people that have played the position before and have the size and strength to indicate they might have some upside with good coaching?

The move is a head-scratcher, and only the hard core homers would think otherwise.
