O-line scares me

Gross, Wharton, and Kalil are solid. It's the right side that worries me. At this point we should just plug Hartsock in at RG lol.

Ya I'm not worried about those three, but honestly the oline has been pretty solid even with bell and Scott in. But they've just had a couple games where they've looked completely Inept

Oline is what it is. Being scared is for chumps. This is a true test for Shula. He is going to have to be a gotdamn genius all week and twice on Sunday!

An almost perfect balance must be called between read option, screen, run, and play action. There must be tempo and the personnel transitions must be crisp as well as deceptive.

This can be overcome with our talent but we must be mentally flawless.

I have a big fat guy at work who is 380+...if you don't mind the suspenders, chewing tobacco, falling asleep and drooling...doesn't move fast But once you prop him upright he is immovable.I'll ask him for you.....

Hey dude, I didn't know you worked with my Uncle Joe!

Hangartner was brought back as insurance for Kalil.  Byers was the backup center and if Kalil went down for the year, there was no one to back him up who knew the playbook.  Center is the second most cerebral position on offense behind QB and whoever the center is needs to be in sync with the QB.  Hangartner makes sense, but let's just hope Kalil stays healthy...

Best case, yes, Hangman is depth. Please. I like him in that position best. ohhhh, no homo?

It amazes me that we've had as many injuries as we've had at the guard position, and yet our line just keeps on a chugging.

John Matsko gets my respect for getting these guys coached up every week.

I'm glad piggy is back. It's good to have a good backup.

Yup. IMO, just another instance of the overall way things seem to be going our way lately.

Scott has actually played rather well. We can run to the right side, so we have some confidence in that Right side. Bell has been pretty steady this year. Who knew. All and all, this unit has been a pleasant surprise. And a big reason for our record.
