i can't work in the same place i goof off.

I put in a solid 5 hours of work in if I get pants on.

If no pants then it is a web cam meeting, answer email, make required calls and then cheetos n Madden

Work from seems much easier to excel at if you have tasks that you can remote in and do. That way you know you have stuff to do and you'll do it. Then have your down time to do things you want to do as opposed to killing the rest of the day at the office.

A sales job without daily mandated tasks and structure would be difficult to do from home for me, but so much of sales is self motivation anyway so there's that.

I think it really depends on how busy the position would be would determine how successful I would be working from home.  My issue with my last role was it was real slack, so I did even less!  If there's lots to do, no better place than home....no commute, no interruptions....just go

I really want a job like this, as there is really no reason for me to have to come to the office minus maybe a meeting here and there.  The problem is someone in upper management doesn't like the idea so it isn't happening (old school).   I hate driving with a passion so I'd rather even work an extra hour instead of sit in the car for 2 a day.   I also believe I may work harder at home than office, mainly because I wouldn't want to lose the privileged.
