From everything I keep seeing from folks, the consensus is to wait until they get the software squared away and some actual games worth playing. I loved the idea behind the Xbox One but it needs a lot of work.

Agreed. It'll probably be at least a year for me before I get either one of these. Let the bugs get fixed and give the developers time to actually make games designed to bring out the systems potential.

Owning both, I can say that, at this point, I don't think there's a compelling reason to own a PS4.  Sony really dropped the ball on launch content.  The only decent retail exclusive right now is Killzone and that's not something that is going to move a system in my eyes.  The XBONE has 3 solid exclusive titles in Killer Instinct, Forza 5, and Dead Rising 3.

What sucks is that both of these "next gen" console's hardware aren't very impressive at all to say the least..  They are basicly barely running "high" settings for games such as BF4 on the PC and not even at a native 1080P resoloution.. Everything is still having to be upscaled... I'm sorry as a fan of gaming and consoles and PC's alike I fully expected more from our next gen of consoles..

 

With saything that.. If I were to get one of the two it'd more then likely be the Xbone purely on the entertainment center piece for my living room. I like that I can watch TV, NFL, movies and everything from one device seemlessly.. As many of you have stated it's a little buggy at the time but we all know that will be fixed in the next few months.. Well before I even decide to actually pick one up.

It amuses me every time someone is sucked into a console debate with PSC. You bitches get trolled so hard.

I got trolled the first time I talked about console vs PC back in like 1999. Now it's just something to make a little time go by.

Or to laugh at PSC's insecurities over such decisions as a gaming rig.
