so you mean to tell me video games can be played on a computer? whoa. a sheep like myself didnt know such a thing was possible.

i need to go threadbomb each and every gaming thread for the next 7 years with this groundbreaking declaration

because obviously the only gaming that deserves to be talked about is on some broke ass console

as for the matter at hand, im just now cranking up my comparison with the online reviews and such, but i can say that I walked into Gamestop the other day and dawdled with the PS4 controller and it was a huge improvement.

pretty positive thats the direction im gonna go after being a MS guy last gen.

can anybody give me an unbiased evaluation of what this deal with the NFL on XB1 is? It comes across as me being able to watch any game any time, but obviously the stipulations are there and Im just curious what they are.

we don't care

Everything I've read about the xb1 says all the tv integration bs is just that... bs that barely works. But what kills it for me is the tiled format. I hate it. I would prefer to work with DOS.

It's about the games, Microsoft. The games. You understood this with your first console.

I usually get multiple consoles every generation, but I see no reason to early adopt on either of these, especially with no backwards compatibility.

I'll probably go with the ps4 in a few years after a redesign. (I tend to miss out on better features by adopting early - not happening this go round).

From everything I keep seeing from folks, the consensus is to wait until they get the software squared away and some actual games worth playing. I loved the idea behind the Xbox One but it needs a lot of work.
