Been awhile since I seen an opposing fanbase giving us absolutely 0% chance of winning.

My biggest fear is that our OL isexposed Sunday. We were not strong going in, and we have a LT pondering retirement, a second string LG who was released and not picked up by anyone until we had an injury, a third string RG who was a defensive tackle and would not have made the roster this year, and a RT from New Mexico who was undrafted and is considered one of the weakest in the league.

I hope cam is working on the quick-hitting routes, the screens, the draws, etc this week. I hope he plans to run. We cannot expect our OL to hold out their DL/LBs for 4 to 5 seconds. I have a feeling they will send a lot of blitzes at us.

Check my sig you'll probably be seeing that a lot on sunday

They have one of the cockiest fan bases in the league for sure.  In the end, it doesn't matter.  The 49ers and the Panthers will play next Sunday and the fans' opinions and predictions won't matter in the slightest.

Please listen to 610 "THE FAN" in Charlotte and tell me OUR fan base is cocky.  I drive to work in South Park every morning and home every night and that bunch of radio announcers in Charlotte are the worst.  5 weeks ago you all were calling for Rivera's head and now this morning I hear a parody of "Rolling Down the River" changed to "Rolling with Rivera".

Then, this week, they started talking about how just beating teams isn't good enough, they want BLOW OUTS NOW because apparently beating a bunch of losers makes them a really good team.

Let's hear more about Hardy who claimed he would have 50 sacks this year (and some of these lame announcers believed he could do it!) and Luke Kuechly who plays well, but still misses tackles all the time.

I've never heard such nonsense and cockiness than when listening to these chuckleheads for the last 2 weeks about all these nonsense stats the Panthers have put up over the last 4 weeks... playing against ALL bottom feeder teams.

Tell me more about how cocky the 49ers fans are... so I can laugh some more.

Pot calling the kettle black, folks.

http://forums.49ers.com/showthread.php?149903-Week-10-The-Panthers-are-going-to-HUMILIATE-the-49ers!

Might  need an account to see it. But for reference:

Cam is gonna show Kap what a real two way threat qb is.... Cam gonna score a rushing and throwing td on the same play... first ever 12 point play in nfl history.

I see the Panthers winning 38-6.

So Kap has to rely on Kyle Williams as the #1 receiver.  Bruce Miller ends up being our #1 receiver with 50 catches for 50yds.  Kyle Williams sets the all time record for fair catches during a game.  He is later signed by the Giants as an outfielder.

Anquan Boldin will get his touches as will Vernon Davis.

The Panthers do have issues at RG now and not the strongest O Line in the league.

Yes, the defense will have some stops.

The wildcard in this game is Cam.

John Madden  'Big time players make big time plays in big games'.

I have no dobut that Cam's competitive nature will want to show how much better he is than Collin.

Cam has to control the high throws, the throws with no touch against a defense that is going to collapse the pocket on him, he has to

get out of that pocket at the instant of pressure.  His instincts can't betray him.

If Cam is allowed to be Cam and plays free and easy, the Panthers win this game.

If the Cam who played this past Sunday shows up, against a team like the 49ers, it will be over.

That's my take.  Yes it is a team sport; but, it is also a game where a star inserts his will and wins or does not and loses.

Let's see if he takes his moment.  If he does, boy, the sky is the limit for this team.

Hey fellas, 49er fan here, about the board over there, a lot of the posters may be some **** talkers, but I think that a lot of them are just being facetious, can't take it too seriously, some of them, of course, are acting stupidly. (But some Carolina posters are also acting silly...)

My honest take on the game is that Carolina is a really strong defensive team, but with your decimated OL and the other "advantages" that a team gets from being at home, bye week, activating talented players, will be too much and we'll get the win.

In the last couple of weeks, we are going to have activated: Aldon Smith, Mario Manningham, Tank Carradine, Quinton Dial and Eric Wright to plug in as needed; they are all going to be incredibly fresh.

I get what guys are saying about the bye week not being a huge advantage, but what I can tell you right now is that this bye week could NOT have come at a better time for us. Several guys had ticky tack injuries that are going to be able to heal up 100% with that extra time off, and guys that we have recently activated will get 2 full weeks of practice time and conditioning to get up to speed. In our situation, the bye week is a huge advantage. Whether the extra game planning really means anything is a question though.

I simply don't see how your O is going to move around on our D, we had 2 bad games very early in the season that are now skewing stats for us, we are among the top Ds in the league again at this point.

At the same time, SF's O is going to have a hard time against your front 7, but I believe that with a healthy and talented OL, Kap and Gore will be able to move it modestly enough on the ground to let Vernon, Q and Mario get going.

My prediction is 21-13 Niners.

News flash....your opinion and prediction means as much as a fart in the wind.

Yeah because a local radio station with a morning show who tries to be controversial to gain viewership and 1 flamboyant player in Greg Hardy surely represent the Carolina panther fanbase.  Forget the message boards where you posted this thread as that would be a totally unfair comparison to what we are talking about.  Lets focus on the extreme and make that the norm instead of looking at the huddle you are using to post your comments.  Look at all the blow out threads here.

Oh wait..................

Amazing what some people substitute for logic and common sense.

49ers= #32 in pass offense

And as far as their run game, its called Star Lotulelei

The 49ers are dead last at passing the football, but the Carolina Panthers Defense is 10th against the pass and 2nd against the run. I don't think Frank Gore is going to have a big game (see other examples this year: Marshawn Lynch 43 yards, Adrian Peterson 62 yards, Steven Jackson 57 yards. We have faced better running backs than Gore and held all of them to a few yards and 2 rushing TD's. The 49ers rushing defense has given up 7 rushing TD's. So, if the 49ers are last in passing and if the Carolina Panthers continue their trend of relegating oppossing running backs to insignificant yardage, what are the 49ers going to do? The Carolina Panthers are averaging over 25 points a game (over 30 points a game in their last 4). If you think the Carolina Panthers have very little chance to beat the 49ers this Sunday you are a moron.

The 49ers have more talent top to bottom.  The 49ers have the better OLine, and the 49ers will be bringing the heat on Cam Newton and your shaky makeshift line.

Keep trying to predict this game with all your silly stats.  Guess what, it doesn't matter.  The Niners don't play for stats.

The 49ers are last in passing because they don't throw the ball, but when they do, they're rated as one of the top teams.  Had the 49ers stuck with the run and not get lost in an identity crisis, they would have beaten the Colts.

The reinforcements they're receiving just in time for this game would be starters on most team.  Harbaugh is finally letting Kaepernick run with the ball after he was nursing an injured foot for the first few games, and the passing offense WILL open up.

Nothing about Carolina tells me they should have the advantage in this game.  They're trying to do what San Fran has already done for the last 2 years, but San Fran is STILL better than them at it.

Probably gonna be a close game, I don't expect a blowout, but the 49ers should definitely be considered the favorites, and will most likely win.
