Should have never let him go? Good God how easily this forum forgets.   All I heard during preseason was how he was the weakest link on the line.  At the time we let him go.  He wasn't a top 53 player.

 

Get over it.  

 

Hopefully the time he has been off he has rejuvenated his motor and will be a solid contributor to this team.

If Scott can't go we will start Chandler. Hangman is here to be backup C/G. He, like Byers won't see the field. See Chandler leading the way on cam's TD

We are talking about SF's front, which is arguably the second best front in the league. He didn't even know who to block, and had to ask Kalil who was his assignment. They will throw the kitchen sink at him, that side of the line will be blitzed, a lot.

We should be thankful there's a veteran o-lineman on the market that already knows our offense and has good chemistry with the core of our o-line.

I'm glad Gettleman is willing to bring back guys we cut in a time of need, I felt like the previous administration wouldn't swallow their pride and make these moves even when they made perfect sense.
