what 49er fans are saying

I can give you cam newton, but while Cam has more yards and TD's. He also has more attempts and INTs. Kaep also has posted a QBR of over 99 two straight weeks. That's the first time that has ever happened. He has more rushing yds and a better average, too.

As a whole, the RB's might be a push. Here is our top 3 rushers vs. yours

49ers - (Gore Kap Hunter) 238 carries  1122 yards  13 TD   4.7 avg

Panthers - (Williams, Cam Tolbert) 239 carries  976 yards  9 TD   4.1 avg

LB, I can't even argue. Ask anybody that has no bias, the 49ers have the best LB core in the league. You guys are really good so it's hard to say we are better, but  4 all pro's in one year is all that needs to be said. Every single one of them made all pro

I still believe the LB Corps is much closer to a push than you are giving them credit for.  But, to each his own.  Our opinions are just that.....interesting opinions.

That is why they play the game.

Its falls under the section of NFL Player guideline. Its called departmental to the league and he has done it several times in the past. Ask Plaxico Burress or Adam "Pacman" Jones. Just to name a few.

Lol at comparing Snith to Pacman. Instead of giving you a long, detailed explanation why Smith wont be suspended I'll keep short and sweet. Hes talked to the league. They're not suspending him prematurely.

QB- Toss up. I think these are two of the better young quarterbacks in the league. Aside from Luck, I would probably go with Kaep or Cam over RG3 and Wilson. While both can play lights out, both are susceptible to dumb mistakes.

fair assessment overall, but i think cam is clearly the better guy here. if we come out of candlestick with a win sunday it'll be because cam was able to make more plays than kaep against incredible defenses.

Green Bay also talked all that noise all off season about foolishly overplaying the zone read.....which is silly.  That is why Kapernick had a wildly uncharacteristic day passing.

Look at Tim Teb0w vs Pitt....you can't overplay it.

True, so very true! But, they still waxed them. I hope the Panthers do the same to them Sunday!!

Most unbiased people don't really even try to compare 4-3 vs. 3-4.  Plenty of national guys have spoken on Carolina having the best 4-3 LB corp in the NFL.

You're right about the schemes. Both teams ask their LBs to do completely different things. Like I said, its hard to say because you guys are really good too, but I am obviously a little biased

You can't really directly compare DLine and LBers when we play completely different schemes. Overall I'd take our D over the 49ers (though not by much). 49ers have a MUCH better OLine and a better coaching staff, other than that we are pretty even. Given that the game is in San Fran I'd say the 6 point spread is about right. I'd say the chance to win is around 60% 49ers 40% Panthers. Both teams are on winning streaks from beating up on bad teams, this will be a good game to see just how good both teams are.

our fronts are both completely different...I'd say our fronts are a push if both are at max strength/health defensively.

offensively....I think we have the better overall O.  I think you have the better OL.  Sometimes, having the better OL is all that matters.

Because he is very streaky and pretty inaccurate he has a 57% completion percentage but if you look at it without his week one game vs gb his % would be right around 50 which is pretty awful..

Well his QBR is 4th in the league compared to 15th for Cam Newton. QBR account for throw aways and drops.

FYI  both of their career completion percentage is right at 60%. Which is average

QBR is a silly stat invented by ESPN to make QBs like TinyTimmy look better than they are.

It's not worth quoting, looking at, or putting any effort into unless you're ESPN and you want to make your made-up stat look better than it is.

I'm not taking a side one way or the other on the QBs because I know I'm biased and I know poo about Kaep except he's a weird looking dude...just pointing out how awful the stat is.

Nothing wrong with that....so are we.

At least we are smart enough to give both teams props and to believe this will be a great game.

Hi guys... If you remember, I hung around here the week before we played in the season opener. I told you guys to keep the faith after the game, 'cause I knew you guys had a baddass team! Just had to come back and say "Told you so!" 'cause you were so negative about your team at the time. With all that talent on Defense and Cam at the helm, there was no way you weren't gonna put it all together eventually. Now the fans of other teams that used to tell us Seahawks fans "yeah, but you almost lost to the Panthers" can SHOVE IT! Hey, do us a favor and KILL the 9ers! You guys are the hottest team in the NFC right now, and unfortunately, the game will NOT be shown on TV up here in Seattle, damnit... Rooting for you guys BIG time! GO PANTHERS! WHOOHOOOO!!! Whup some Niner ASS! Maybe we will have a rematch in the NFCCG! Good luck the rest of the way guys...

In an instant I went from hating Seahawks fan to disliking most of them. Thomas Davis or Steve Smith said we would play again and I'm beginning to believe it. We will see against the 49ers. One thing is for sure, you will see a whole new crowd against the Pats than when we played in week one.
