Offensively,  punch them in the gut and run at them....they are too fast to run laterally, cut backs and such will work ..misdirection will work. along with screens and TE screens and for the love of god, please please, get rid of that receiver screen for this game.

 

Cam needs to make his mind up quickly, two reads, not their go.   Their defense is too good to pussy foot around with....be decisive.

 

Defensively, DO NOT OVER PERSUE...DO NO BLITZ very often...must play contain and stay home...the way Colin makes all that noise is teams over pursuing him.

 

Spy on Colin (TD) and a spy on Vernon...make them beat our DTs with Gore.

 

No turn-overs, smart smash mouth football and the Panthers can win this game.

excellent point. i imagine TD will be an integral part of our gameplan (which is the norm i suppose.)

 

it's also important to have an efficient first half as an offense. if we get up early on the 49ers they're probably doomed.
