Dolphins suspend Richie Incognito

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Will not likely ever play another down in the NFL.

With regard to Martin, I've heard him called "soft" by several players, former players and teammates. But, the guy is an offensive lineman, starting in the NFL, so while he may not be someone's idea of a macho, 'roid-raged goon like Incognito, the fact of the matter is he walked from a 4-year, nearly $5M contract because of Incognito, so it had to be pretty bad.

"Hey, wassup, you half n***** piece of s***. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. [i want to] s*** in your f***ing mouth. [i'm going to] slap your f***ing mouth. [i'm going to] slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. F*** you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

Nice. Just the kind of guy I want playing right next to me on the O-line. What a douchebag.

What I find so hypocritical about this story are all those folks who were out there saying,  out of one side of their mouths that "bullying and racism is  bad" but was quick to label Martin without the facts. They were willing to give Incognito the benefit of the doubt....Then the vioce mail came out.

I wonder if Incognito verbal abuse towards all rookie players include their skin color and "real" mothers? OUCH!!!!

And now you know why Tannehill is getting sacked more than any other QB to date.  From what I understand, a key element to good O-line play is teamwork.  How good could that be with Martin and and Incognito side by side...protecting the blind side six games this year no less!

So now we find out the the Dolphins coaches wanted Incognito to "toughen up" Martin after he skipped OTA's?

This thing is gonna get ugly.  If Incognito was instructed to "toughen" him up by Dolphin brass, then THEY will have a lot of questions to answer.  First, why pick the team psycho to do your dirty work?  You know he is gonna screw it up.

Tbf though I find the opposite to be true. Most of the people that were calling Martin a pansy are quick to downplay bullying and racism as much as possible.

QFT.  For a lot of people something isn't a problem if it's not a problem for them as individuals i.e. they lack empathy.  If it was someone close to them (such as a child or other family member) that was getting hurt and traumatized they would likely sing a different tune.  But up until that happens, they are so obtuse and myopic it's actually pointless to even try and make them see reason.

I have lost so much respect for soo many profootball players. I am quite frankly just glad that noone from the panthers has made any statements. Victim blaming, minimizing blatant verbal and mental abuse. All while commenting on complex psychology that they obviously know nothing about nor do they really care. They are leaving the door open for this stuff to be repeated time and time again until someone

commits suicide

commits homicide

attacks a teammate with intent to do serious harm

goes overboard physically with the hazing that leads to death or serious injury

And then all you will hear is how sorry everyone is, and how noone saw the signs etc. etc. blah blah blah. Shameful.

The audacity to speak with such ease and nonchalance about the necessity of abusing someone in order to make them somehow better.

As i've said before, not surprised the media is backing this Richie kid over the Martin kid. If Martin had hauled up and kicked Richie in the mouth, those same folks would been calling out Martin and labeling him a "thug."
