San Fran will be coming off a bye. They will also have film on how ATL gave us fits.  This is not gonna be an easy game. In fact, a win would be down right impressive.

Most teams this year have decided that the best way to attack our front 7 is with the shorter quicker patterns. It is easier to execute, and it keeps your QB upright. Though we still pounded matt pretty good today.

If we play our usual game. We can win. They don't play their A game. We can win. They were on a little roll before their bye, we are on a little roll ourselves.

Gonna be a long week.

Beating SF in SF would be impressive. And doable.

 

 

Don't lose contain and get push up the middle and collapse. Make him beat you with his arm from the pocket with some hands in his face.

That is how we play normally. Contain and collapse. His weakness plays into our strength.

 

 

Our dline needs to play alot better than today if we're gonna have a chance against the 9ers

You do realize they were leaving 6 and sometimes 7 into block. Just our front 4. Once we took 88 out of the game, ryan had no where to throw. We spanked them real good.

SF has a good line. If they can run their O with just the interior 5, we could be forced to adjust. However, if we can continue to be disruptive along the front, we can force them to have to adjust. Their weapons are not full strength. Limit their running game, and we can take away their versatility.

This week can be a mirror image of the last 6 weeks. Play our brand of football and this is going to be a great game.

 

 

We honestly should have hung 50 on ATL. This was a pretty close that should never have been close but turned blowout quickly.

The thing that scares me about San Fran is that they don't need CK7 to play good to win a football game. He can literally complete only six passes and they still win by 20+

I think the emphasis this week will be on 2 major themes. Stopping the run with lane integrity and solid tackling. And contain and collapse the pocket. Do these 2 things well, and we can win.

We, normally, play good fundamentally sound football. If we play that way in SF, we can win.

The beauty of carolina right now is Shula for gods sake is utilizing the offense the right way. It seems ugly but hes doing it - no talent is too small - no widereceiver is beyond using. I did love the bombs that Cam threw and its evident Cam needs a VIncent jackson or maybe Domenique needs to get his ass on the field. 

 

Whatever happens - get ready for one hell of an entertaining game. :)
