Just because you quote what a book says, doesn't suddenly make it fact.

If you want to think it's abuse thats fine, you have that right. I'm not going to discuss this point any further.

I spent ten years of my life in a locker room. I know the difference between hazing and abuse.

Hazing doesn't involve racial slurs, leaving voice mail threats to slap someone's mother or talking about someone attempting suicide.

Lots of NFL guys who endured good natured rookie hazing will tell you it helped them bond with teammates. None of what you see in this situation involves 'bonding'.

And it's not like this is new for Incognito. His history is such that when he leaves a place, it usually isn't voluntary.

He's not 'misunderstood'. He's an ignorant, psycho POS. If he never plays another down in the NFL, I won't shed a tear for him.

a bit of sad irony, my sister just let me know that today my nephew in first grade had some older kid stuff his coat into the toilet so i had to help her get him another coat.

and i'll also be going to the school to help get this dealt with.

bullying is absolutely abusive behavior and it pisses me off, esp. when people try to make light of it and claim it's no big deal or, worse, try to paint the victim in a negative light or make the bully a sympathetic figure.

Best of luck, Rayz.

And agreed.

Insight from Martin's high school coach.

PFT

Sounds like he's just a quiet guy.

Like how the writer threw the SEC schools under the bus...lol That was kind of elitist man

So, they picked on the sheltered rich kid that went to Stanford. Is that the narrative? really? Guess who also went to Stanford...Richard punk-a$$ Sherman while Jim nut-job Harbaugh was the coach. A-holes come in all sizes, colors and go to all kinds of schools. This is a serious issue, but the media is useless

The Dolphins' clubhouse, meanwhile, seemed to be standing behind Incognito, according to Dan Le Batard, a Miami Herald columnist and ESPN radio and TV host.

"They've been supporting Incognito and it's troubling and it speaks to the culture of football because the other guy is viewed as a quitter. The other guy, Jonathan Martin, is viewed as weak," Le Batard said on ESPN radio on Tuesday.

"Right now if I put in the Dolphins locker room a poll and said, 'who would you welcome back, the guy who's being perceived as a racist bully, or the guy who is perceived as weak', almost to a man I think they'd take Incognito back."
