I even said in my one post that removing himself wasn't wrong either. I mean that's fine. I don't know, I just always assumed once you get older, you stop dealing these things. Like I'm a grown man, I don't have time to waste on these childish things. So if you wanna work with me and act like an adult cool, you don't w/e, I'm not gonna worry about you. He didn't handle it wrong, just maybe not the best possible way.

But lol, abuse? Like I saw one of the mods earlier actually compare this to rape. That's what I'm talking about it's overblown.

Like I said, I don't know all the details, it's just discussion.

There's an episode of Louie where he's on a date and some teenagers start bullying him. Louie handled it 100% perfectly.

that video is everything i hate about people in america.

psycho meathead with his shirt off in a bar screaming nonsensically pumping out his chest....look at me, look at me.

while pouncey is standing there laughing. get martin the fug out of there.

to be fair, there's not a society in the world without people like that. and good luck finding a period in time where there weren't people like that.

FYI, there is a reason why Bullies always have followers. They themselves are afraid to stand up to the bull so they believe if they go along the bully will leave them alone..

What I see is folks hiding their own cowardness by questioning what Martin should have done in his situation. Many of you are the same folks who claim, when it's convenient, that bullying is wrong. Question...When does it become wrong?

When he called Martin a ***, that's when for starters.

for sure, but this is america. the greatest land in the world supposedly. not meant to derail this thread.

i literally wanted to knock incognito out from my couch watching that video so he would shut the fug up.

Here is another question.

Richie is on the news today from an interview last year discussing how Tannehill will be forced to by his line jet skis. And he made Martin give him $15k to finance a trip to Vegas.

I hear stories about rookies buying big dinners but that sounds more like a shakedown.

Exactly. I get the pay-for-dinner type of stuff....but at what point do you shell out $15,000 without speaking up? I clearly don't understand how poo works in an nfl locker room or things must have been really bad in there.

lol I forgot about that part. That was a bit much following him ALL the way back to his house like he did. I meant the first part.

Such an awkward but great scene.

yea so that analogy doesn't work....martin essentially did the same thing...took the abuse then told the proper people to handle it without taking it into his own hands.

you should have just put my name out there and i absolutely called it abuse and i absolutely compared those who say "he had it coming for letting it get to that point" to those who say about victims of rape that they had it coming and invited it.

that's not overblown. that's calling a spade a spade. you have people that stand up to injustice and you have those who tolerate it. guess which one makes the world worse and allow this poo to go on?

and just because abuse isn't physical doesn't mean it's not abuse. whether it's physical or not, it's wrong and it has to be stopped and people have to stand up to it, whether it's happening to them or someone else. if you know, you should act. this whole thing about "it's not my problem" makes it everyone's problem and it allows bad poo to go on.

Yes, abuse..

a.buse (schwa.gif-byoomacr.gifzprime.gif)

tr.v. a·bused, a·bus·ing, a·bus·es
1. To use wrongly or improperly; misuse: abuse alcohol; abuse a privilege.
2. To hurt or injure by maltreatment; ill-use.
3. To force sexual activity on; rape or molest.
4. To assail with contemptuous, coarse, or insulting words; revile.
5. Obsolete To deceive or trick.

Other than #3, which definition doesn't fit this situation?

people have to stand up to it,

So should he have stood up for himself or should have left the situation. Or can both be right? I think both work.

and no, lol it is not comparable to rape. This is just ridiculous.

I've said Richie was wrong, so I'm not sure what else needs to be said.
