I thought he played okay, could have been better, but he made some great plays too. So not bad. Plus we won, so that's great!

Actually, this gives me more encouragement than anything else. Cam didn't have to be perfect, or nearly so, for a blowout win.

The notion "as Cam goes, so goes the team" is slowly turning. Cam was not good today but the team held steady after the turnovers and kept it from becoming a meltdown. That's progress...

Cam is a beast. But he will throw picks from time to time.

But we won without Cam playing amazing. He had an average day and we won. I have said for weeks that this is the next step for this team.

It's pretty simple. He had a bad game but not bad enough that we wouldn't win. He still made plays. That's Cam trying to do to much against his hometown team. He got greedy, forgot the check down, and tried to do too much.

That said Steve Smith is a blessing and curse to this team. Most of Cams bad plays involved Steve Smith in some way.

@Fiery Agreed on Smith. I said it was his fault for giving up during the game. It's obvious the ball was thrown to the corner of the endzone and Smith wasn't there.

Looks like most of the top tier QB had bad games today. Even with that, Cam is the second best fantasy QB having 18pts and Brees having 19pts.
