Brian Billick -> here is a freaking chart for Cam's "flat ball" (season long observation, not a gameday)

Cam was late with his throw to Ginn on the deep route, or he could have led him more to the sideline. But with that being said, I really thought Ginn could have made a better play on that INT. The ball was in the air for awhile, and he totally misplayed it. How can a ball thrown 40+ yards end up being behind you so you can only reach back with one hand? You have to be able to adjust to the ball better than that. Worst case, knock it down for your QB.

Dropping balls in a bucket worked out real well for Wienke......

Not sure how it worked out for Wienke. However, after Dorsey had the QBs try the drill, Cam said he could understand the rationale behind it. For the record, Cam hit the 50 gal. drum once. From 40 yards, not bad. Don't remember the number of throws.

But it is like everything else he is trying to learn. They can go out the window in the heat of the battle.

The good news? The more he practices the good habits, the sooner they become learned behavior. When Cam sees these throws on tape, he can actually see, evaluate, then improve. He will file them away for future reference. Next time he is in that situation, he will instinctively know what to do. "I knew what to do because...well...I'd already done it."

If Cam has an off day once in a while? And we still spank you. I can live with that.

I had that thought drop in my head as well. But, from the replays, which were few and far between if you ask me, I couldn't see much of his route. Hard to tell where he is coming from.

And yeah. That was one pass Cam had some air under. Seems like Teddy had plenty of time to adjust.

Although, when Cam threw that ball the first thought out was, underthrow.

Oh I agree it was just a little tongue in cheek stuff.  Wienke was supposedly a wizard at the "bucket" drill.     I'd love to see Cam get a little more touch on this throws when he's going over defenders.

His point is there are times when a flat powerful throw is ideal and times when an arking throw works better. Cam has the ability to make both throws, but needs to utilize the arking throws more often. I agree with this to a degree. Watch Tom Brady play and you'll see what he's talking about-you don't need to throw rockets all the time.

Well, I am certainly glad I didn't go all chucky on you. I did think you were being facetious. Ah hellz, carry on my good man.

I swear it seems as if there is sme desire to always put Cam's week performance under a damn magnifying glass. FYI, every QB has idiosyncrasies that cause them to do things. I don't get why you folks believe Cam needs to get rid of his or he fails as a QB. Every week someone finds somethng wrong with Cam the person or his game. It's getting fugging ridiculous.

Your team WON despite Cam's two Int. What that says to me is this team is growing and maturing as a team. They are not defining their win on their QB's mistake free game nor should you. What I see is a team finally figuring out that winning isn't just about Cam having a good day. it's all hands on deck every single week. IMO, all you folks are doing is making it easy for those who already label Cam a "BUST" and is doing everything in their power to prove themselves right.

34-10 Panthers is the score. Well done Panthers. Get off of Cam's manhood Panthers' fans.

I do not think Billick is putting him under a microscope. To me he sounds as though he thinks Cam is great but feels he could improve his accuracy if he could get some more arc on the ball
