Aaron Murray...

Highly thought of two years ago. Now, I dont know what to make out of him.

No. Give me Logan Thomas next year in the 3rd or 4th.

Logan Thomas is literally awful.

Just read some of this stuff on rotoworld.

NFL.com's Mike Huguenin writes that it is "becoming increasingly evident that [Virginia Tech senior QB Logan] Thomas' impressive 2011 season was the aberration."

Huguenin inked an article last week that praised Thomas for his strong play in October, but the senior's disastrous outing in VT's upset loss to Duke on Saturday (0 TD, 4 INT) prompted the scribe to essentially write a retraction. Thomas, who is often compared to Cam Newton physically, has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns in his fifth year on campus. "In short, the intangibles don't seem to be there," wrote Huguenin. Virginia Tech senior QB Logan Thomas is listed in the third tier of draft-eligible prospects at the position by ESPN's Todd McShay.

Thomas lands ahead of the fourth tier, which is designated by a "day three" tag. "From his size to his arm strength to his ability to spin the ball to his mobility, Thomas has everything you look for in terms of physical qualities," McShay explains. "But he has to show more consistency. No QB in this class produces more varied opinions -- some scouts still love him, and some have completely written him off." Thomas is currently undraftable from a passing standpoint, but we have conceded to the fact that he will be selected earlier than his play indicates.

I look at him as a project. That's why if he's there in the late 3rd or 4th, you take him. He also is huge in size and a mobile QB similar to Cam, but not Cam.

Josh Norris thinks that he will come into the NFL as a TE, he's so bad.

I'll take him as a TE. But, I think some teams will like his size and mobility too much as a QB. I mean he aint AE or Denard Robinson.

I wouldn't mind him as a TE, either. He's fast for his size. But as a QB? No way in hell.

I think he could be a Jordan Reed type player.

    • No one is allowed to criticize XL unless you want serious clap back. He’s just one of those players that is immune to criticism on this board. But sorry that I don’t expect week in and week out drops, body catching, jumping for every ball when you don’t have to, horrible spatial awareness from a 1st round WR. He has so much to work on that it’s insane these issues didn’t drop him to atleast the 3rd round during the evaluation process. To make matters worse, the best RB today was a 4th round RB we could’ve waited later for and gotten someone like Cooper DeJean who filled a need in the 2nd who a lot of posters were pounding the table for including me.
    • Keywords there "Playoff offenses".  They might be the a huge piece, but in every case there, they are not the only piece.  might be a good run game, good QB, or great coaching.  Meanwhile yes we have a good RB, but we're still like 24th in Rush YPG.  Other Recieving options?  basically all rookies.  QB?  A guy who was benched after 2 games and just now learning the NFL.  Hell we have a rookie coach.  It. Takes. Time.
    • His route running has improved as the year has gone on, but the gator arms show up every week. From all accounts he works his ass off, so let's hope he continues to do so this offseason to improve his hands catching.
