Denver Broncos coach John Fox was hospitalized Saturday after experiencing heart attack symptoms, sources told ESPN NFL Insiders Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter.

Fox was on a golf course in Charlotte when he experienced the symptoms and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, according to the sources.

Broncos officials believe that Fox should be OK, the sources said.

The Broncos are on their bye this week.

The following report sounded promising...Fox's team is on their Bye Week and the head coach was in Charlotte, NC golfing at the time when he began complaining about chest pains.

He has since been taken the the hospital.

The immediate word from the Broncos is that they believe that he is okay.
