FAQ's for the Huddle Champions League

Not sure why it would be different from last year. 3rd and 4th was split. If the huddle does another next year any changes should be made before the payout date.

Yes Im 4th but I see no reason payouts percentages would change without prior notice.

well, they were listed before the final games so people had a chance to voice their opinion!!! little late now as there was no opposition to the payouts until after the games were completed. Will paypal your winnings tonight when I get home....perhaps 1-4 could pm me their account info

This is under the FAQs for payout. Has been the same way for 3 years now. So because you all are tight your going to change it a couple days before the final game. Sorry I dont log in to the huddle everyday and there was nothing listed on the FF site itself which most do log into to check lineups. Its not about the money or the payout but the way things are being handled as to why Ill call bs on changes that could of been made all year being made a couple days before the final game without even a message on the fantasy leauge site about it.

This is what we saw under the faqs when signing up. The way it was for 3 years now.

Don't know the exact amount of the kitty but it will be very close to $762 where it has been the last two years. This if figured by 48 teams times $20 = $960 less the $160 it cost to buy the league from the site less the cost of paypal fees. So the final # is determined by how many people pay with paypal.

Each of the four semi-final teams earns $100 each. Both the final teams earn another $100 each and the winner gets the $162 (+/-) balance....so;

winner = $362

second = $200

third & fourth = $100

these amounts are paid via paypal (hopefully) as soon as they are earned.

that was back when it was 48 teams as well. It never made sense to me why 3rd and 4th got the same payout...why have a consolation final then?

I really don't care how the money is split, I just figured the way I had suggested made sense...1st got 2X as much as 2nd, 3rd got 2X as much as 4th.

KBRed was the only one to suggest any numbers and mine were inline with his, just rounded them a little and edited them for the amount actually in the account after league fees and paypal fees.

As for being tight...I'm not sure what your point there is...we have X amount of dollars from people entering and X amount of dollars for payout...me and Salt did our best with what we had. Next year we are more than happy to let you run it yourself so that it will be so much better.

Im not asking to run it and trust me after the way its been handled since PntherPryd stopped I and the others I brought into this will not be doing this league again. Fair is fair, and its not just to change things at the last minute without notice to everyone involved.

That suggestion of yours would have been great had it been at the start of the season. A post hidden within the faqs of the huddle site 2 days before the final game to change percentages just doesnt seem right to me.

nothing was hidden and everyone had the opportunity to chime in well before it mattered. You don't log in each day and thats up to you...but I'm not going to chase everyone down to make sure every change is ok either! League started here on the huddle and all discussions about it were here on the huddle.

Pryd didn't have the time to run the league so a couple of stepped up to take care of it. Are we....me....guilty of not putting enough time into it at the start to think about the payouts etc, you bet. I wasn't even playing in the league until a couple other ass clowns decided to delete their entire team.

I have no problems either... I know Hawk and Salty aren't trying to screw anyone. I didn't even read the pay out stuff last year or this year, so that's on me. I was under the assumption it was winner take all.

I guess if you don't like it, don't play next season.
