A little love for Chris Scott

His PFF grades have been abysmal but are trending up. He got his first green grade just last week. Glad to see him come in and help out, hopefully he proves to be a good pickup long-term.

I was going to say that he has been very slow to pick up stunts and delayed blitzes.  I have seen him allow people to cross his face in pass protection.  Losing weight should help this, along with familiarity with the system.  Scott has been good at run blocking, but I don't think I have seen him pull.

Long Term he could be solid.

We could be / should be set att G next year---Scott, Kugbila, Silatolu,  G Williams, maybe Wharton.   Byers can play a little G too.

I am very curious to know how Chandler is progressing as a T.

He's precious

Stop gap as of now.  Who knows what his ceiling will be after getting all this game time experience.

Keeping continuity on the line, for the sake of chemistry, is the key to how successful this team will ultimately be.

When the season is over, we should know if he is starter material or is best as a backup.

Isn't he precious.  Atleast he is in game shape now.

For a player with no previous starts, seeing action in only 2 NFL games, getting carted off the field in his first practice as a Panther......

I am very happy with his play.  If anyone was expecting him to make the Pro-Bowl, I am sorry. This guy has gone from almost being out of the league to a serviceable starter.  That is huge.
