Better yet, how do you get a hidden rifle up and start popping off shots in an airport without someone taking you down?

I just read they seem to have had their information wrong and the shooter was not an off duty TSA agent.

Carry it in a gun case.  As long as you keep it in the gun case and don't go pass screening it is legal.  People check in guns for flights every day.
