A distant cousin of mine was trying this a few years ago.

Part of this is skill but also luck. Too beat the time by 2 hours you have to have a perfect run. No traffic, no weather, perfect pit stops.

 

I note the bedpan, I wonder if they had souped up gas tanks. Will read the article.
