Newton/Dalton taking back the spotlight

Russell Wilson is very overrated. I am not convinced whatsoever that he can move and control an offense from the pocket with his arm. He doesnt seem like a QB that could go out there and be a surgeon and thread the needle. I do think Andy Dalton is very underrated. Hes a very solid QB. If you asked me right now the three best, youngest QBs in thr league right now. In no particular order, it would be Newon, Dalton and Luck. I might only be 28 but im old fashion when it comes to football and I will take a QB with true pocket passing skills that can win from the pocket over these gimmick, running option QBs like RG3, Wilson etc. Yes Cam runs, but I have 100% confidence he can still be a highly succesful QB as a pocket passer if need be.

yeah, i kind of get an idea that may be some long time debate over which class is better.

no doubt which one was hyped more.

6 QBs in 2 years is big pool. With what looks like a good crop behind them. I have never seen a stretch like this.

Can the media stop comparing and judging new QBs.  They're just doing this so fans of these young QBs can argue over whose wangs are bigger.  No one did this every week QB judging with the past QB classes.  People used to wait whole seasons before they'd critique individuals.  Nowadays its on a week to week basis.  You can't judge QBs who don't play in a vacuum, on a week-to-week basis.  Some have good teams, play weak schedules, have moronic OCs, have injured players/lack of talent, etc.

Just wait, Newton will be one of the best, I believe it, but at the same time, I don't have to put down the other QBs to believe this.

We live in a "Immediate delivery" society. Throw in that with the interwebz, and all these new fangled devices, people want it now. That, and there are just sooooo many options. All vieing for attention. Comes with the territory.

We aren't going to know anything about these QBs for at least another few years.  Drew Brees was cut after 5 years and look at him now.  Rodgers didn't even start until he was 26 or 27.  The attention paid to all these new QBs is ridiculous.

IMO, Cam, Luck, Dalton, and Wilson have already pretty much shown who they are. Cam can do almost everything, Luck is no slouch, Wilson has been steady and effective his whole career, and Dalton has improved every year.

Kaep, RGKnee, and Tannyhill are just too damm inconsistent. Kaep doesn't even know who he is, RG still needs time to get back to normal let alone overshadow anyone, and Tannyhll?

If you take the top 4, with Kaep and RG on probation, that is still a good crop of QBs.

If Wilson was 3" taller, he would be a beast. As it is, he is viewed as nothing much more than a huge nuisance. The kid can ball.

Me, I see 4 elite type QBs in that group. If you want to be Alpha of that group, you'd better bring it. And I think Cam can bring more to the table.

Cam gonna bust it up before all is said and done. That my friend, has this fans giddy in overdrive.

He has only had a few bad throws. Two of them really were costly though.

Dalton is better than he's playing tonight, but he's had more than a few bad throws at this point.  Like a good team does, he's getting bailed out by other players.  Not a knock on him, that's what good teams do.

good. wasn't expecting much anyway. don't really care about either team except maybe just to check out miami. how do they look?

Horribly inconsistent. Wallace is playing well at WR and doing so with good routes, not just go routes. They're DB's are opportunistic and their DL is good. They're certainly beatable.

He is completing 64% of his passes with about 4 drops. He has had some bad throws too, but no more than most QBs
