LOL man you people are hilarious. THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!

We are a bad team. Deal with it.

I'm seeing some very insane things. Henderson can't shoot, MKG sucks and can't possibly get better, Taylor is the GOAT, Zeller sucks, etc. All too hilarious.

Henderson had a bad game, but was a top 10 SG last season and averaged nearly 20 ppg after the All-Star break. He shot 44% from mid range (one of the best in the league), 33% from 3 (average), and 82% from the FT line.

MKG is in his 2nd year and while he was disappointing last game he is still a top tier defensive player.

Jeffery Taylor has shown me nothing that screams future starter. I like him and think that he will be a good role player in the future, maybe even as soon as this season, but MKG has been better than him.

Zeller is a rookie who has played in one game...

Jesus people...

While I realize how people react and agree with a lot of what u say. I don't agree with Henderson. He is not a shooting guard. And is very mediocre. I want him to be good but he just isn't getting it done. To hear some people talk about this team and say we are fine at all positions is crazy. Some folks would be ok with mediocre team we have but I'm not.

Gerald Henderson isn't a top 10 sg in my eyes. Don't ask me to name 10 better ones. He might have been statistically better but stats aren't everything. I'm done with him. If he turns it around I will be happy to say I'm sorry Hendo. Until then gtfo

You don't like Henderson and I'm fine with that. Statistically he is a top 10 SG and that's not even counting defense. I'm also not sure what you mean by saying "if he turns it around"... bro he averaged nearly 20 ppg in the 2nd half of last season and carried us to a few victories. Sure, he probably isn't a starting caliber SG on a very good playoff team (unless you have a superstar big or a superstar small forward), but he's pretty damn good for now. I could understand if you said that you don't like him because he hasn't been consistent for an entire season. I would completely understand and agree with that. I won't attempt to persuade you though, because really only Hendo himself is capable of that.

If he wants to continue to start he will have do a few things.

1. Play good defense(which he does)

2. Average around 18 ppg ( not half a season)

3. Become a good shooter and knock down open shots

4. Be consistent with 3 pointers

Of course big al is now out main scorer. There is no reason that Henderson can't be the second leading scorer. He had numerous open looks and shots last night that he couldn't connect with. I realize this was the first game and I'm over reacting but I just don't wanna wait around for him to be consistent and be that guy. He and Kemba are the only ones in that starting lineup that can make jumpshots Gerald just needs to start making them for once.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
