Well, now that the trade deadline is over, we can relax (Gordon nor anyone else is coming).

Questionable is an understatement.

Superstar is an overstatement.

What do you think we could have given up and gotten him?

They wanted picks it's been said on nfl live all week they want to stockpile picks...so a third round or any possible combination of a third and additional late roundsand possibly lafell since chud worked with him....second dude is a stud he's put up numbers with weeden, hoyer, and Campbell ....Idk how cap space and what kinds of hits we would take but if they were looking to deal him idk why It wasn't worth a shot or more of an effort.....this is all irrelevant to begin with cuz like I said I knew all along we wouldn't do anything.......

Why would Cleveland take a guy (LeFell) who's a FA at the end of the season.

Why would we want a guy on the cusp of a lengthy suspension and a history of dumbassery for high picks?

I'd far rather keep who we have now and invest in a WR in April who isn't a basket case.

Haha dude I simply said I knew we wouldn't do anything and you asked me what we could give up I was just answering your question.....like I said before this whole argument is irrelevant I simply stated I knew we wouldn't do anything in a colorful way maybe you misinterpreted my original comment....I'm not mad about not having josh Gordon...I'm upset we didn't do anything tho with Britt being there and nicks that's all....but like I said originally I never once considered any of them would be a panther

I knew from the beginning it was unlikely. Browns probably wanted at least a 1st rounder for Gordon, if they wanted to trade him at all, but no sane team would've given a 1st rounder for a guy who's one purple drank sip away from being banned for one year. Highest I'd have gone was a 3rd that turns into a conditional 2nd if he doesn't get banned for the time up until the draft. Ultimately he's more valuable to a rebuilding Browns team who's willing to take a risk on a very good WR that has maturity issues.
