Where does this "Cam is not a student of the game" poo come from? I can't remember where I saw this video, but the video I watched was of Trent Dilfer speaking about Cam Newton and his work ethic. If I recall correctly he stated that after Cam's rookie year was over he immediately began working out and watching film and didn't even take a break. I wish I could find a link for the video

That's what I'm saying. Some have tried to make Bellotti's comments only about Mariota, and the truth about whether he'll be better than Cam, but the fact that Bellotti insinuated that Cam wasn't a student of the game blah blah blah is what I didn't like, but to each his own

He was the golden boy in all scout's eyes. The once in a decade prospect. The best prospect since Elway. Everyone agreed he basically couldn't bust.

Because Cam is not the prototype QB he's black, athletic, can do everything these pocket QB can and also what they can't. on top of that he's marketball has the look, the smile and has the swag of a wide receiver who are often confident and show boat and has Fun like a primetime. They know Cam has the potential to be the face of the league. Then going back to his issues when he was younger in college they still have issues wit cam the person they think he's Vince Young 2.0. When he's more McNabb/McNair smarter then he gets credit for, and media savy.

They dont want him suceed because of they were wrong about him coming out. Plus he just won after they crucified at auburn. They love to hate him and its sad cause anyone spent time with him loves the kid. smh
