Get Cam Newton out your mouth, Mike Bellotti (just another opinion is all)

I agree with him. Cam has always just been the best on the field and could beat teams with superior athleticism and effort. That's no longer the case in the NFL and he's having to reel in the highlight stuff for more consistent, smarter plays.

To play off of Smith's recent comments- Cam went from being the very best checker player around, but now he's graduated to chess. The learning and development process continues and Cam has a very high ceiling.

Not saying you're a racist "Jackofalltrades" and never will because I don't know you. But when it seem as if the majority of those in the media who have been attacking this young man's character and work ethics are white, and they have been spewing the usual old stereotypical, HE'S GETTING BY ON HIS STRENGTH AND NOT HIS INTELLECT BS, and encouraging coaches and teams to work his ass like a fugging animal, while white QBs like Luck are being compared to and elevated above Cam but are getting all the necessary help they need to succeed, one has to wonder.

Even worst is the majority of those who seem to have a problem with Cam and are always trying to justify their feels  that he has "never worked hard" for what he has accomplished, as if to say they are the ones who should make the determination of who should succeed and fail in life, are not only mostly white but work for or have some sort of connection to ESPN. Is that a coencidence?

The Alpha Males at ESPN and their underlings seem to be raising their heads a lot and seem quite pissed at this kid's natural talent. I wonder if they would  be saying the same about Cam's intelligence and work ethics if he was white?! I simply just have to ask.

And FYI, the guy who took Smitty's quotes about Cam, interpeted what he felt Smitty meant based on the already media created image of Cam. Those who are familiar with the rap lyric by Jay-Z knows what Smitty meant. Playing checkers is a small man's game and don't take much effort to master. Playing chess is shrewd and skillful game. It was meant as a compliment to Cam but as usual the small minded folks, who to has made it their business to control Cam's image, continues to paint him as some lazy kid who needs "to be taught."

The guy is a douchebag. He's just a mouthpiece of the Oregon athletic department. All he talks about is Oregon and Mariota. He was getting all kinds of pissed off this morning when someone was saying he and the FSU QB would put up similar numbers if they swapped places.

My racist ass would take Winston Jameus <sp?> over other dude 9 days a week.

Where does this "Cam is not a student of the game" poo come from? I can't remember where I saw this video, but the video I watched was of Trent Dilfer speaking about Cam Newton and his work ethic. If I recall correctly he stated that after Cam's rookie year was over he immediately began working out and watching film and didn't even take a break. I wish I could find a link for the video
