Everyone's favorite part of Tuesday morning.

Yahoo: 11

A win over Atlanta this week wouldn't validate them, but it's necessary. A chance for validation comes the week after, at San Francisco.

SB Nation: 9

Don't look now, but after a 1-3 start the Panthers have been playing some high-quality ball. Offensive coordinator Mike Shula is finally figuring out what to do with Cam Newton, and their defensive front is handing out weekly beatings. They're working around weak links on the OL and in the secondary, but their strengths could land them a wild card while preventing the Saints from resting on their laurels in the South.

USA Today: 11

Broncos East? Panthers have scored 30 or more in last four victories.

CBS: 13

Winning three consecutive games is impressive, but now comes a tough stretch to prove they are playoff worthy: Atlanta, San Francisco and New England.

NBC/PFT: 13

We’ll believe in the Panthers once they prove that they can deal with adversity.

Fox: 14

The Panthers are now over .500 for the first time since 2008 and have won eight of their last 11. That's the sixth-best winning percentage during that span.

So according to PFT, if we win blowouts the rest of the way they still wont believe in us?

It's the attitude most here used to downplay the Seahawks last night. They want the Panthers to win a close game but any other team it's used to downplay the win.

NFL.com has moved us up two spots to 12.

Carolina's defense sure looks the part. Through seven games, defensive coordinator Sean McDermott's group has balled out, allowing 13.7 points per contest. While Cam Newton is receiving much pub for the Panthers' recent mini-run -- they've won four of their last five -- the defense is what could push this team past the Lions or Packers for the NFC's sixth seed. ThinkingRon Rivera's seat might now be air-conditioned.

That ass feels a little cooler now, and the butt pucker is probably a lot more relaxed.
