Now that Farve has turned down the Rams. A few candidates..

Now that the Rams have been turned down by Brett Farve, here are a few QB's they could go after for the remainder of the season.  (The real reason Farve turned down the Rams.  No John Madden to say his name ever five minutes! :D )

#1) Archie Manning:  I guarantee that Archie would fill the seats in whatever stadium the Rams went to.  Who knows, maybe Peyton and Eli can give him a few pointers.  So, he hasn't played since the 83-84 season.  The NFL is a passing league now.

A look at Archie's numbers:

Quarterback for the New Orleans Saints (1971-1975 and 1977-1982), Houston Oilers (1982-1983) and Minnesota Vikings (1983-1984).

Led NFL in Pass Attempts (448) and Completions (230) in 1972.

Ranks 46th on NFL All-Time Pass Attempts List (3,642).

Ranks 47th on NFL All-Time Pass Completions List (2,011).

Ranks 56th on NFL All-Time Gross Yards Passing List (23,911).

Ranks 78th on NFL All-Time Passing Touchdowns List (125).

Ranks 38th on NFL All-Time Passes Intercepted List (173).

Ranks 11th on NFL All-Time Times Sacked List (396).

Ranks 8th on NFL All-Time Yards Lost List (3,092).

#2) Kurt Warner: Won 2 NFL MVP awards.  MVP of Super Bowl XXXIV.  Last played in 2009.  He's play for the Ram before as well.

No way am I bringing up Vinny Testaverde's name.
