Question- Do we root for Atlanta today?

i know it's early and fug Atlanta but with them being 2-4 and Zona being 3-4 wouldn't make sense to root for ATL? They beat Arizona and we are still in the WC spot. Zona wins they take it for the time being and have the tie breaker over us. Doesn't matter if Atlanta wins because we still get to beat them twice.

Since the playoffs don't start for another 9 weeks I don't care what the positioning is. There are very, very, very few times that rooting for Atl (or NO, TB, or Dallas) acceptable and Week 8 sure isn't one of them.

Always root against the teams in our division unless they are several games behind. We don't need Atlanta to get on a winning streak and then some how catch us chasing the Saints or wildcard.

 

Arizona is too volatile to trust late in the season. Therefore, I don't think they will be a player for the wildcard.

no we do not because if they win today than next week is a MUST MUST win, because if we lost to them next week we would have the same record as them and that can not happen.
