Another area where Cam needs to improve (according to Coach, and others). "It's electric!" LOL

Head first, the hit is legal. Feet first, it is a personal foul.

If it were safer for a QB to go head first, why have qb's been sliding feet first for decades?

he's not going feet first.

he's falling on his side in the fetal position with his back towards what's coming to him, protecting the ball.

why have QBs been sliding feet first for decades? because of the rules, maybe? doesn't mean it's the best. why don't other ball carriers slide feet first?

did you read that quote i posted earlier? if you didn't, you should because it explains it very well, imo. if you don't buy it, there's nothing i can do to explain it more.

This can be easily solved by not having Cam slide at all be it feet first or head first.

He just needs to truck the defender and run over him.

Obviously, I'm joking but I'd say about 85% of the time he wins that battle.  Yeah, it's a bad idea for the long term but for the short term we'd highlight ESPN every night.

I wouldn't say "for decades". Back in the day, QBs were men. They didn't have all the protections that they have now, nor did they have a prima-donna-how-dare-you-touch-me attitude.

Basically, a lot of today's QBs are pussies, that's why they slide feet first (that, and being indoctrinated to slide feet first, as if that's the only way to protect yourself). I believe Cam is disproving that notion.

Yes they do because it is a personal foul....otherwise every QB sliding feet first would be injured.

He goes head first and he is fair game.

I swear... The ignorance of most of you is astonishing.

Yes, because the numerous personal foul penalties called on Brandon Merriweather sure has stopped him doing that. You don't get it. Some players do not care about that type of thing. There is a risk of a serious head injury for Cam to slide feet first. Some players would think a penalty like that would be worth it, if it took Cam out the game.
