First rule of giving nicknames..don't talk about giving nicknames.

Second rule is it just has to happen. It must be organic and out of nowhere.

All the greatest nicknames in history were NOT manufactured.

It can be talked about but it can't be the main subject.

Should come during the Gameday thread or at the game somebody makes a comment etc.

Kind of like Smash and dash? That name had been thrown around here before it was ever talked about on TV. I know thats not their name now, but the point remains the same.

I still like the alternate names a radio caller gave the Titans version of "Smash and Dash".

His suggestion was "Shamu and Flipper".
