teams are allowing Luke to over penetrate.  Luke just needs to have a bit more patience and allow stuff to develop in front of him. he has a great fron line, let them do their jobs, you can trust them now.

I wanted to talk football, like do you think teams are actually starting to game plan against him? Have they found a weakness? Or like someone said above is it just that other guys like TD are just stepping up in a huge way.

Ray Lewis in his prime missed tackles, took bad angles, slipped, etc.

Also, Luke is a film rat....if he overplays something he will get it corrected

I'd imagine that field had something to do with that missed tackle. Looked like they were running around a waxed hard wood floor in socks at times

Those two are no explanation for not getting off blocks as easily, missing a huge play through the middle, and not wrapping up on usual tackles.

I'm not try to criticize him at all, I just wanted to get some opinions because it wasn't just ONE game, they made him disappear last week.

You can scheme to take away any one players. Rams schemed JJ Watt out the week prior to doing it to Luke. JJ is arguably the best defensive player in the league

Maybe hes just trying to do a little too much, he seems to be flying a little too fast for his own good right now.

 

This is what I saw last night.  He was probably just frustrated coming off of that Rams game where they game planned around him and pretty much took him out of the game and he was trying to overcompensate last night.

The field conditions looked terrible. Players slipping everywhere, i'll take an off game while leaving relatively healthy. Which can't be said about a lot of awful condition games, Ala Chris Clemons in the playoffs last year against Washington.

He'd been off the last couple of games, not just last night. I wanted to believe that his stats have decreased due to having more playmakers on defense but last night was just a poor showing. He was manhandled by the Guards and couldn't get off those blocks all night long. Missed some tackles and was so so in coverage. Still probably the best MLB in the league. I'm hoping it's just OCs game planning harder on him. But I'd still like him to beat those OLs like how he should.

Your not hearing his name called as much because OTHER PLAYERS are stepping up and making plays....he's doesn't have to carry the defense anymore

And because if you called his name every time he did something it would start to get annoying hearing his name after every play.
