i'm thrilled with ginn. cam has revitalized his career. i can't imagine what this offense would look like if we didn't have his ability to take the top off of defenses... coordinators are having to plan around him when he's on the field. i'd say he's the best threat we've had opposite steve smith since moose came back in 2008.

He had at least 2 big ones last night that I remember. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying watching him in the black and blue.

AT LEAST two BIG ones last night??? No, he had ONE big one, not two or more.  He is 3 yards behind Olsen to lead the team in receiving yardage for the YTD, he does lead in average yards per catch by a huge margin, led in yards last night roughly doubling Smitty, and more than doubled our next three receivers (Olsen, LaFell, Tolbert), and only Tolbert, on FAR shorter passes, beat him on target/completion ratio.  Dude gets a pass on the drop in my book.  My bet is that if you go through the stats, he's got fewer drops than anyone who has been targeted more than ten times this year.

If he had two or more drops last night, show me reliable stats or vid clips and I'll stand corrected (but maintain he is a gem anyway).  Otherwise, do what I did and get some custom German lenses put in your glasses.  You'll be amazed at what you can see, and don't see what you thought you saw before.

Edit:  There was that near fumble on the return when he tried to cut and his knee hit the ground really hard.  That is, however, what saved the day since he was down before he lost the ball, which officially means he didn't lose the ball.  Admittedly still scary though, but it happens.  With all the other problems in TPA, the field looked like total poo too.  How the hell can you fail at growing lush, sturdy, turf in FL?

Oh yes Mr. Ginn is doing very well, I am impressed. Dude can play, and we are perhaps giving him the opportunities that the other teams never gave him. Maybe something has clicked with him, maybe it's Cam, maybe it's coaching. Whatever it is, he needs to keep it up and continue to succeed.

And I am sure Cam is loving having him on the team. Smitty too.

He is a avg WR that I would give a avg contract too. Way too many key drops for him to get big money. Same goes for LaFell.

too many key drops..  lol @ one drop this season..

anyhow,

I still contend he's a legit #2 at this point.
