I was wrong about Ron Rivera

The Panthers have demolished a lot of bad teams. They do that every year. There is no reason to get excited until this team plays consistent, beats an upper echelon team, and wins a close game.

Patriots, Saints, Saints, 49ers

The reality is we likely have to win one or two of those games to make the playoffs. Let Ron deliver on that and then we can start talking about an extension.

Really? Do they do that every year? Because I thought the narrative was how we always played down to the competition and lost games we shouldn't.

I like Riverboat Ron. But I'm still not ready to put trust in him again yet. Hopefully he proves me wrong. He's definitely lit a fire under the players' collective asses and has them playing to their talent.

If he has the balls to teabag all three of our next opponents, consider me 100% sold.

I've always thought he's done a great job at prepping the team through the week. (minus our annual post-bye week letdown) It's the gameday decisions that have left me scratching my head.
