I was wrong about Ron Rivera

Never thought he could turn this team around.

 

Never thought he could gamble on 4th like he is.

 

Never thought we'd be 4-3 after that disappointing start.

 

Hats off to Riverboat Ron.  Hopefully he carries us to the playoffs.  I won't be satisfied if he doesn't... but I'll gladly eat my words and admit I was wrong about his ability to change as a conservative coach.

As of right now, it seems like we have a different coach. I mean, it's amazing the difference.

I am afraid, though, to see what the team looks like if Rivera ever feels comfortable in his job.

After the 0-2 start I said I would want to keep him for at least the rest of the season if we were 5-3 by the midpoint of the season.

 

We are well on our way. Come on Ron, make the playoffs and it will be impossible to fire you this season, you can do it!
