1st half thoughts

Offense looks sharp at times, other times they look just average. Newton looks pretty good except for the 2 or 3 overthrows... defense doesn't seem to be playing so well, giving up chunks in the running game to a rookie making his first start, virtually no pressure on the rookie qb and the secondary giving up big plays..

If this is a better team we are playing, the score could be a lot different

Think the short we makes it hard for the defense to really prepare and get ready.  They definitely need to make some adjustments at the half.  But the offense really needs to have a good drive and get back some momentum after halftime.

 

A touchdown would be great but even a field goal would help.

Offense has looked pretty good.  If Ginn makes that catch, I believe we're up 21-6.  Even though they've only given up 6 points, the def hasn't looked very sharp out there.  I don't think they're going to hold.

Everyone has to contribute.  You gotta catch the ball when its laid in the bread basket, and the RBs gotta pick up the blitz.  I'd like to see us blitz glennon too, get a rookie off balance.

True, but also remember 2 rookie DTs on 4 days rest, and hardy showed up when it counted most. #brightside
