8:30 is right after we get the kids to bed, so I'll be world weary and flopping on the couch.  We have half an ice cream cake leftover from my birthday, some cajun trail mix, and maybe even a cold beer or two.  Envy my life. 

 

We are (not so) patiently waiting for Pinky's to open up near the house (the first one was near my old house, I think they are following me) so I can promptly make that my watering hole again.  I don't know who wants it to open up faster, me or my wife so I can stop mentioning it to her.

not always hunting. tonight will be the first in about a week and a half cause i've had some kind of inner ear thing going on that gave me vertigo. couldn't handle the tree stand.

 

still, i got no complaints :)

I'm gonna set my alarm to 2.30 am, start NFL Gamepass and hope the game is worth a night without much sleep! Thursday Night Games are not so easy to watch for a Panthers fan from Germany...

Couldn't agree more. I'm a Duckworth's regular (it's a mile from my house). I had to ask them to put the Bobcats' game on a few years ago and let them know about that, but since then they're awesome. Great beers

We hit the Duckworths near me off 25 up a couple times a month. It's a legit bar. I just don't like the location how it's kinda tucked in there in a former OCharleys. They are building a Hawthornes Pizza near me off 23 and a Pinkys.

Duckworths is a great Charlotte bar. I've never watched a game there though but I did hear about what happened at the Duckworths on Montford during the Panthers/Cowboys game last year.

We need to start a Charlotte bar/night life thread; it seems u and I have similar tastes. Did u go to BBQ festival last weekend downtown ?

Which bar? Ice House sucks. Tyber Creek = one of my favorite bars in all of Charlotte.

Prob tavern on the tracks or gin mill. If i really want to focus on the game I'll go to wob. I don't really like tyber creek so far

Both are good choices. We used to go to Gin Mill a lot during Cam's rookie year, but I live up in LKN and don't like driving. I know the people who own Tavern on the Tracks.
